Picowatt (pW) is a unit of power. It is often used when measuring very small power levels, and it is often used to describe the power of very small devices, such as transistors and other electronic components.
The prefix pico- denotes a factor of 10-12. Therefore, one picowatt is equal to one trillionth (1/1,000,000,000,000) of a watt.
Note:
Picowatt (pW) is associated with very small power levels, while Petawatt (PW) is associated with extremely high power levels.
