Euler's number (e) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 2.71828. It is a fundamental mathematical constant that appears in many mathematical formulas, particularly in calculus and differential equations.
It is named after the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler, who introduced the constant in the 18th century.
