Taobao Mall (Tmall) or tmall.com, is a website for Business-to-Consumer (B2C) online retail in China by Alibaba Group. In 2012, TMall.com officially changed its Chinese name to Tiān Māo (天猫), with a view to creating phonetic similarity between its English and Chinese names. The name ‘Tian Mao’ literally means 'Sky Cat'.
