Tactical Training Group, Atlantic (TTGL) was established on May 1, 1980 as part of a Navy-wide training continuum to improve awareness of and proficiency in advanced tactics across the surface, aviation, and submarine warfare communities. The TTGL is to prepare the Atlantic Fleet to effectively execute tactical naval operations missions.
