Television Rating Point (TRP) is a number that analyses the favoritism or popularity of the programs broadcasts on television. On the basis of it, the program is rated as per the category. TRP is calculated by attaching a device called as People’s Meter in different geographical and demographic sectors where it is being broadcasted and the device records the time and the program that a viewer watches on a particular day.
