Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) is a security protocol that was developed to address weaknesses in the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) protocol that was commonly used for securing wireless networks.
TKIP is used as part of the Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) standard and is designed to provide enhanced security by dynamically generating keys for each packet transmitted over the wireless network.
