Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is a measure of the combined content of all organic and inorganic substances dissolved in a liquid. TDS measurement is one of the simplest techniques to check the quality of water. The therm “Dissolved Solids” refer to any minerals, salts, metals, and ions dissolved in water.
TDS is measured in parts per million (ppm) or milligrams per liter (mg/L).
