Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) is a type of copper cable that is used in telecommunications and computer networks.
STP consists of pairs of insulated copper wires that are twisted together and then wrapped in a metal foil or braided copper mesh shield. The shield helps to protect the cable from Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI).
