Service Tax Number (STC) is a unique 15 digit number which is allotted to the assessee at the time of Service Tax Registration. Every Servie Tax number starts with 10 Digits of PAN Number. 11th & 12th digit is service tax code (either ST or SD). And the last three digits represent the premises number (eg 001, 002 etc).
