Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO) is a type of polar orbit that is synchronous with the sun. SSO is synchronized to always be in the same fixed position relative to the Sun. This means that the satellite in the SSO always passes over the same part of the Earth at roughly the same local time.
The full form of SSO is Sun-Synchronous Orbit
