Selection Questionnaire (SQ) is a series of set questions in a set format that a bidder must complete so that a buyer can evaluate the bidder’s suitability for a particular contract. It is used to collect information to help decide which suppliers should be selected to participate in a tender.
SQ enables purchasers to identify the most suitable suppliers to invite to tender for contracts. If the bidder passes the SQ stage, they will then be invited to the tender stage.
