What does SLA mean?

Stereolithography (SLA or SL) is a form of 3D printing technology that works by focusing an Ultraviolet (UV) laser onto a surface of a photo-curable liquid (resin) with the help of a Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. SLA is an industrial 3D printing process used to create models, patterns, prototypes, and production of parts in a layer by layer fashion using photopolymerization.
