SAT is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. It is a multiple-choice test that measures critical reading, mathematics, and writing skills.
SAT is owned, published, and developed by the College Board, a nonprofit organization in the United States.
SAT was originally an acronym for Scholastic Aptitude Test, then the Scholastic Assessment Test. SAT is now simply referred to as the SAT, and the acronym does not stand for anything.
