National Higher Education Mission (Hindi:राष्ट्रीय उच्चतर शिक्षा अभियान, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, RUSA) is a scheme for the development of higher education in India, launched in 2013 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. RUSA aims at providing strategic funding to eligible state higher educational institutions.
