Registrar of Companies (ROC) is the official agency deals with regulation and management of all types of Companies covered under the Companies Act 1956 & Companies Act 2013 in India. Its the duty of the ROC to ensure that companies are properly registered, and that, when registered, they file accounts and other information correctly. The office of ROC function as a registry of records, relating to the companies registered with them, which are available for inspection by members of public on payment of the prescribed fee.
