RDX, also known as Cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine or Cyclonite, is an organic compound with the formula (O₂N₂CH₂)₃.
RDX is an explosive widely used in military and industrial applications. It was discovered by Georg Friedrich Henning of Germany in 1898. It was first used to produce strong explosives during the Second World War.
