RMS Delay Spread (RDS) is a parameter used to characterize the multipath propagation of a radio signal.
RDS measures the average time it takes for different parts of the signal to arrive at the receiver due to reflections and scattering from the environment.

Root Mean Square (RMS) is a mathematical concept commonly used to quantify the average or effective magnitude of a set of values.
