Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) is a type of wastewater treatment technology that uses biological processes to remove pollutants from wastewater.
RBC is a biological treatment process that utilizes a series of closely spaced, rotating disks mounted on a horizontal shaft. These disks are partially submerged in the wastewater, and as they rotate, microorganisms attached to the disks come into contact with the wastewater. The microorganisms oxidize the pollutants in the wastewater, converting them into harmless substances.
