Quick UDP Internet Connections (QUIC) is an experimental network protocol designed by Jim Roskind at Google. It is developed on top of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) instead of Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) with an aim to provide reduced connection and transport latency along with security and reliability.
