What does PT mean?

Pacific Time (PT) is the time zone that is used in the western part of North America, including the United States and Canada.
PT can refer to either Pacific Standard Time (PST) or Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), depending on whether daylight saving time is in effect or not.
During the winter months when daylight saving time is not in effect, PT is equivalent to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is eight hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC−08:00).
However, during the summer months when daylight saving time is in effect, PT is equivalent to Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), which is seven hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC−07:00).
