What does PPR mean?

Principal Place of Residence (PPR), sometimes also known as Primary Place of Residence, is the place where one lives most of the time. The principal residence or main home can be a house, apartment, trailer or houseboat, as long as it is where the tax payer lives most of the time. Principal residence are taxed differently than vacation homes and other investment properties.
