Para-aminobenzoic Acid (PABA) is a chemical that occurs naturally in the body. It is an organic compound found in several foods including grains, eggs, milk, and meat.
PABA is often used as an active ingredient in many different sunscreens, cosmetics, and other beauty products. But is in now avoided due to allergic dermatitis that can cause skin irritation and might also stain clothing.
