Multi-Disciplinary Monitoring Agency (MDMA) was constituted by the Government of India as a Unit of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). MDMA was set-up for monitoring, coordinating and wherever necessary investigation relating to the assassination of Shri Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India at Sriperumudur on 21-5-1991.
