Main Central (MC) Road, also known as State Highway 1 (SH1), is a major State Highway (SH) in the state of Kerala, India.
MC Road runs from Kesavadasapuram in Trivandrum city to Angamaly in Ernakulam district.
MC Road passes through several towns and cities, including Kottayam and Kottarakkara, and serves as a vital transportation route connecting various parts of the state. It plays a significant role in facilitating the movement of people and goods across Kerala.

Note:
MC Road was built in the 1790s by Raja Kesavadas, the Dewan of Travancore, connecting Thiruvananthapuram city in the south to Angamaly, a suburb of Kochi city in the north.
Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) is the capital city of Kerala.
