Low Carbon Steel (LCS) or mild steel is a type of steel that has small carbon content.
LCS typically consists of less than 0.30% of carbon. Its reduced carbon content makes it more malleable and ductile than other steel types making them easier to handle.
LCS is often used in making automobile body components, pipes, construction and bridge components, machinery parts, domestic appliances, structural shapes such as I-beams, channel and angle iron.
The full form of LCS is Low Carbon Steel
