High Definition/Density Digital Versatile Disc (HD-DVD) or Digh-Density DVD, is a high-density optical disc format for storing data and high-definition video. HD-DVD is capable of storing 15 GB per layer, which is almost three times more than the traditional DVD that is only able to hold 4.7GB.
