Global Imager (GLI) is a multispectral imaging instrument that was launched on the Advanced Earth Observing Satellite-II (ADEOS-II) on December 14, 2002.
GLI was developed by the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) and is operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
GLI was designed to capture data in multiple spectral bands and provide valuable information about Earth's land, ocean, and atmosphere.
