Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is a global research program carried out by a research consortium dedicated to understanding the relationship between entrepreneurship and national economic development. It is an annual assessment of the entrepreneurial activities, aspirations, and attitudes of individuals across a wide range of countries.
GEM’s mission is to measure differences in the levels of entrepreneurial activities between countries, uncover factors leading to appropriate levels of entrepreneurship, and suggest policies that may enhance the national levels of entrepreneurial activities.
