Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is a parapsychology experiment that investigates the possibility of a subtle connection between the collective mental activity of humans and the physical behavior of systems in the surrounding environment.
GCP is an experiment that attempts to capture the effect of global consciousness via measuring statistical deviations in the output of a global network of random number generators.
GCP operates under the hypothesis that events that elicit widespread emotion or draw the simultaneous attention of a large number of people could affect the output of hardware-generated random numbers.
