Electronystagmography (ENG), also known as Electronystagmogram (ENG), is a diagnostic test that measures the involuntary movements of the eyes, known as nystagmus, in response to specific stimuli.
The test involves the use of electrodes that are placed on the skin around the eyes to detect electrical signals that are generated by eye movements.
ENG is commonly used to help diagnose conditions such as vertigo, dizziness, balance disorders, and certain types of hearing loss.
