Engine Monitoring System (EMS) is a tool used to determine the condition of jet aircraft engines for purpose of engine monitoring to assist in identifying and correcting problems before they result in engine failures. The tool is designed to detect malfunctions during normal aircraft operations and to gather information for engine performance analysis during take-off and flight operations.
