What does DVC mean?
Dual-Voice Coil (DVC) refers to a specific type of speaker design where a single speaker driver has two separate voice coils, each with its set of wire windings and terminals.
DVC uses two separate voice coils connected to the same speaker cone. The two
voice coils are wound on the same former, which is the cylindrical or bobbin-like structure around which the coil wire is wound. This allows the speaker to be wired in different ways to achieve different impedances.
