Demand-Side Response (DSR) is a form of energy system demand management.
DSR is a method of reducing energy use at peak times so that there is less of a strain on the electrical grid. DSR scheme offers remuneration to electricity users to reduce their electricity use at peak times, this will help manage the load on the grid during critical power supply shortages.
