Directed Attention Fatigue (DAF) is a neurological symptom that occurs when the inhibitory attention system, the part of the brain which allows concentrating in the face of distractions, becomes fatigued. DAF is not an illness or a permanent condition, but rather temporary fatigue that can affect mental processing.
