Diameter (D) is a measurement of the distance across the widest part of a circle or any other circular or cylindrical object. It is a straight line that passes through the center of the circle and touches two points on the circumference. It is also the largest distance between any two points on the circumference of a circle.
The diameter of a circle is also twice the length of its radius (r)
