Cost to Company (CTC) is a term used to describe the total cost a company spends on an employee during one year.
CTC includes not just the employee's base salary, but also other forms of compensation such as bonuses, stock options, health insurance, other benefits, as well as any other costs associated with the employee.
Note:
The employee's take-home salary, which is the amount of money they receive after taxes and other deductions, is typically less than the CTC.
