Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) or Concentrating Solar Power, refers to large-scale solar thermal technology systems that use mirrors or reflectors to focus sunlight onto a receiver, which collects and transfers the solar energy to a heat transfer fluid which drives a heat engine (usually a steam turbine) connected to an electrical power generator to generate electricity.
