Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a fuel source that is made from compressing natural gas to less than 1% of its standard atmospheric volume. It consists primarily of methane gas, which is the main component of natural gas extracted from underground reserves.
CNG is compressed gas and remains in a gaseous state at room temperature. It needs to be stored in high-pressure cylinders, as the gas remains in a gaseous state at room temperature.
CNG is used as a fuel for vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and buses.
