Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI) is a measure of a company's ability to retrieve their accounts receivable from customers.
CEI measures the ability of the accounts receivable department to turn invoices into cash.
Note:
Accounts Receivable (AR or A/R) refers to the amount that a company is entitled to receive from its customers for goods or services sold on credit.
