Atrioventricular Canal (AVC) is an essential feature of the heart, which separates the atrium from the ventricle.
AVC defect is a combination of congenital (present at birth) heart defects affecting the center of the heart. Children born with this condition have a hole between the heart's chambers and problems with the valves that control blood flow in the heart.
