Assistive Technology (AT) means any technology used by individuals with disabilities in order to perform functions that might otherwise be difficult.
AT refers to any assistive products and related systems and services that enhance learning, working, and daily living for persons with disabilities. It includes low-vision devices, hearing aids, and augmentative and alternative communication systems, walking frames, wheelchairs, and prostheses such as artificial legs.
