Atlantic Standard Time (AST) is a time zone that is four hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-4).
AST is a time zone observed in parts of eastern Canada and the United States, specifically in the Atlantic Time Zone.
Note:
During Daylight Saving Time (DST), these regions switch to Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT), which is UTC-3. The transition to daylight saving time usually occurs on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.
