What does AAC mean?

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC), also known as Autoclaved Cellular Concrete (ACC) or Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete (ALC). AAC is made with fine aggregates, cement, and an expansion agent that causes the fresh mixture to rise like bread dough. In fact, this type of concrete contains 80% air. It is a lightweight, precast building material that simultaneously provides structure, insulation, and fire and mold resistance.
